Pantone’s Finest: Our Best Selection of Pewter and Yellow Sandals

Pantone’s Colour of the Year has been going for more than 20 years and their forecasts influence products across fashion, interiors and industrial design. To arrive at the Pantone Colour for 2021 the institute combs the globe looking for new influences. These can come from many different sources ranging from films in production and travelling art collections to popular holiday destinations and latest buzzwords. 

This year we find ourselves in exceptional circumstances and as a result, not one, but two shades have been chosen as the Pantone Colour of the Year 2021. They are ‘Illuminating Yellow’ and ‘Ultimate Grey’ together sending a message of strength and happiness. The Pantone press release stated that while “yellow is bright and cheerful, grey is emblematic of solid, dependable elements … their union expresses a message of positivity supported by fortitude.”
